Devalia Safari Park is a mini version of Gir. The 412-hectare safari park has almost all representative wildlife and forests of Gir. Within a short period of time, one can expect to sight Asiatic lions and other wildlife in their almost natural habitat. An open moat showcases the beauty of the Indian leopard in an enchanting near-natural world. This beautiful waterfall lies on Shingoda river which passes through Gir and falls into the ocean. As per ancient stories, it is said that initially the name of the waterfall was “Manjira waterfall” where Manjira was prefered to a musical instrument which as kept by a renowned saint named Jamdagni Rishi. Then after a while it was named as “Jammanjira Waterfall” which was name after Jamdagni Rishi.
